I don’t know about you, but I find Project Runway, Season 3, downright addicting. I have been watching season three after a brief introduction to Project Runway last season, you know, with Santino and Chloe, and I find the designers on Season 3 to be the more interesting finds. As the weeks go on and the group gets smaller, I, like most people have some predictions about the winners and losers of Project Runway Season 3.

I have to say I’ve been pretty good, week to week, guessing which Project Runway would-be fashion mogul is about to be booted. For example, when the designers were assigned to make outfits for other designer’s moms and sisters, well, it wasn’t hard to know poor Robert‘s mu-mu with red shawl, or whatever that was, was going to get him cut. I could have made that! And I can’t even sew! It also wasn’t difficult to guess that Angela, after one hit and several misses in season 3, was going to get the auf weiderschein (or however you spell it...) when she just didn’t pull it together for the Paris “jetsetter” episode, even though Kayne’s Elvis ensemble was questionable.

Kayne, in fact, though, needs to watch himself. Since Project Runway left the pageant dress episode, he’s had a few weird moments, like when he had to totally re-do his recyclable dress and when he over peached Michael’s mom. And the competition is only getting tougher as the dead weight has been cleared away and now only good designers remain. I think he’s got his work cut out for him, no pun intended, after some missteps.

Vincent has come from behind to prove himself. He won the mom’s challenge after tanking in the recyclable episode. His clean and dark jetsetter look last week got a split decision from the judges, but, overall, he seems to be getting stronger as the weeks go by. I think he has a great deal of self-confidence, but he also has had several weak weeks that mean he needs to really push himself. Not sure he’ll last much longer.

Project Runway Season 3: More Predictions as the Field Narrows

Takeaways
  • Kayne, Vincent and Laura need to watch themselves now
  • Uli needs to go from under the radar to outstanding
  • Except a Michael-Jeffrey finale
Did You Know?
Project Runway's Tim Gunn runs The Parson School of Design.

To a Cecelia Peters A da! And what dillusional world are you livin in? Do you get on line and down every program on television for their commercials? These so called crude commercials are in just about every program. If your affraid of your children being expoded to the real world then keep their face out of the tv and back into your bible. This is the 21st century, FREEDOM OF SPEECH , FREEDOM OF CHOICE , If you have a problem with it don,t watch it. Do you really believe that your comment will change commercialism?

I hope to see Jeryl, Kato, and Leanne go to Bryant Park . I love their fashions , they work well with others. I am so upset that Kenly is still on the show, she should have been eliminated instead of Suede. It's hard to watch a show when someones deminer and voice makes your skin craw. Please Please get rid of her, she is no good.

I am a devoted Project Runway fan. I have watched every season, every week , rerun after rerun and I have to say that I can not , can not stand Kenly. I can not believe that the judges tolarate her mouth and disresectfulness . She is always over talking anyone that says anything to her, she can,t shut her mouth long enough to let anyone finish their sentence. She can not take any critisism, she thinks her sh#t is always right on (her words). She is stuck in the fiftys, all her stuff is the same old bla Old fashion, I mean look at her and her own dress of style , Old Old. I am praying that she totaly gets elimanated next show ,(can,t believe she's still there) She clearly lives in her own dillusional lil world and I will truly be disappointed if she goes to Briant Park, Because she clearly can not work well with others, and is not knowledgable enough about what fashion is about today. LOVE HEIDI AND ALL THE JUDGES, LOVE PROJECT RUNWAY.

How can you show such questionable commercials on your channel at 4pm, when children of all ages can access tv? The program you were airing (real housewives,....as if) was silly indeed. However, the commercial before it ,advertising "make me a super model" , with young men and women engaged in more than questionable behavior was totally irresponsible and crude. I know that children and young people of all ages are watching this trash, the shame of it all is too egregious. May you and all at your station reap the just rewards for that you do for society in general, and our young people in particular.

Is there going to be a 4th season of project runway? If so, when?

Jeffrey's good except for that time when he dressed Angela's mom. I loved Michael's dress. I don't find this season interesting though. I liked the previous ones better.

Altho, I am a fan of the show I find the choices of some of the designers follow suit in each season.......must here always be the sarcastic smart ass.

I think Jeffrey is bad news and good news...He is refreshing and yet he does not have a trusting face... He just looks guilty of farming out his work...My hope is that Laura wins....She has all those kids and one on the way....Jeffrey on the other hand will make it no matter what.....They all should win....;
