Mental Health Doctor Kathryn Faughey Slashed to Death at Work

According to New York Times, On Feb. 12, Dr. Kathryn Faughey, a 56-year-old female psychologist from New York, was hacked and slashed to death while in her in her mental health office, by a man using a suitcase full of knives and a meat cleaver. When Kathryn started to scream, a 70-year-old male mental health doctor came to her aid, receiving serious injuries.

When police started to investigate, they found that the unknown 40-year-old male attacker had left two suitcases in the basement of the office building, while on his way out of the emergency door: one suitcase with weapons, and one suitcase with various female clothing, including disposable diapers for adults.

Hey, wait!!! Haven't I already seen this movie? Stalker plans murder, and doesn't want to stop for potty-breaks with the get-away car?

The term, "Ditto Death" is my personal term for defined murder sequences that repeat in our media headlines. Ditto Deaths are all school massacre deaths after the original Cokeville, Wyoming, school hostage situation in May, 1986. Ditto Deaths are murders that the public has seen in the media, duplicating to incorporate as their own.

Ditto Deaths are a concern to be aware of if you work outside of your home with the general public. When the media reports on a murder, and there is conversation available about that murder, a copy of that murder may happen again.

Today, shopping malls, courthouses, airports, schools, post offices and many other businesses run metal detectors and security cameras to protect their employees from copy-cat crimes to those that the media has already reported on. People are discouraged from standing on freeway overpasses because trucks, busses, and cars have been previously shot at. Our society freedoms are closing-down over violent media reporting resulting in Ditto Deaths.
