Tea Party Games for Adults and Children
Adult Tea Party Games
The Tasseography Tea Party Game
This tea party game focuses on the Chinese fortune telling art of reading tea leaves. The preparation is easy and the basic rules are fun. Simply use tea leaves, not tea bags, and do not strain the tea. As you and your guests start to drink the tea, have everyone think of a question they would like the leaves to answer. This can be a wonderful conversational start to your tea party game.
Drink almost all of the liquid and then swirl your tea cup and examine the leaves. The resulting shape of the leaves may be the answer to the drinker's question. Print some common leaf shapes and their corresponding meaning to increase the fun in this tea party game.

Story Telling Round Robin Tea Party Game
This tea party game usually starts with the host. The host creates the beginning of a story based on an assembly of guests playing a tea party game. Then, disaster strikes the imaginary group. The host leads the audience quickly up to a cliff hanger in the story and then turns to the guest sitting closest to the host. That guest continues the story of the unfortunate, imaginary tea party game players. At the next moment of excitement in the dialogue, the speaking guest turns to the next person and the game carries on until everyone who wishes has had a chance to add to the story. The last guest to speak must close this story telling round robin tea party game by somehow finishing the story.
Children's Tea Party Games
1. Most children love the classic tea party game, musical chairs. The only problem is that some children become so excited that they have accidents, of one kind or another, in their race to find chairs.
