Big Brother 9: Til Death Do You Part - Episode 2 Review

Where we stand: Last episode, Parker and Jen won the competition (and 10,000 big ones) and are titled the "Power Couple". They have the power to evict one couple. All eight couples are still in the house, and no HoH has been named.

We start this episode with more of the same. Adam and Sheila at each other's throats. She is once again complaining about him, and trying to save face, Adam tells some of his house mates about all the good work he does with special needs children. He says he is working on a barber shop so "all the retards can get their hair cut together." This really upset Sheila, and I found it to be in poor taste as well. As did most of the house mates. Jen complains in the confessional that Sheila has too much bad energy. It seems at this point that Adam and Sheila are the front runners for eviction.

Then we get a look at some of the couples and how they are coming along. Of note: Allison is asking Ryan (who is secretly dating Jen) if she is his type. Playing along, he says yeah. She likes him for sure. It is cute, but also really sad because we all know that he is off the market. Meanwhile, Alex says he wanted "to give Julie a big kiss" when she announced that he was paired with Amanda. Amanda is also really into Alex and says she thinks it is possible to find love in the house.
