Financial survival can often be one of the worst forms of fear ever produced by the human race. However, there are ways that you can successfully overcome financial fear and take back control of your finances, if you find yourself suddenly unemployed and in a huge debt with your credit card while running out of money in your checking. Here are some real emergency financial survival suggestions on what you can do to save yourself from running out of money until you can locate another paying job for yourself. These are actually techniques that I have used to save myself during an emergency financial survival situation in the real world while being unemployed and looking for a job in La Grande, Oregon.
First, try and cut back on any immediate expenses that you absolutely can survive without every month, including your cell phone service, home telephone service, home cable television service, home Internet service, personal transportation costs and regular money spent on food every month.
In order to access the Internet for free every day, you can always use the free public Internet service at your local public library or Internet café to surf the World Wide Web and check your email messages.
You really can save a lot of money by canceling your monthly cell phone and regular home telephone service every month. You can start saving money by using a pre-paid phone card and a pay phone at a gas station or a shopping mall to make local and long distant calls.
You can even use Yahoo Voice Instant Messenger to make PC-to-PC calls from your computer to another person's computer, which is free and a lot cheaper then using a cell phone or a pay phone. Yahoo also allows you to sign up for a free Yahoo telephone number so that other people can use a regular telephone or cell phone to call your computer and leave a voice mail message. Then you can either use your computer at the library, or a pre-paid calling card and a pay phone, to return your phone calls.
