I Thank You, Lord

For the air I breathe,

For the food I eat,

For the grass that grows

Beneath my feet -

I thank You LORD.

For a car that runs,

For a place to live,

For the chance to someone

Else to give -

I thank You, LORD.

For children's laughter,

And my true love's smile,

For a body that will take me

Another mile -

I thank You, LORD.

For all You've given me,

For wife and kids and friends, For each new day that shows me

Blessings without end -

All these many blessings,

None that I deserve,

Grateful for the chance

My God to serve -
