This is a collection of games that are fun to play at children's tea parties. They are especially for medium to large groups of kids.

Blindfold Game
For this game you'll need a bunch of old makeup and enough blindfolds for all the attendees. Each girl at the tea party gets blindfolded. One person is delegated as the makeup person, and she hands out odds and ends; eyeliner, lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow work best. Then, play a song and each girl gets a partner; their job is to apply makeup on their partner. After the song finishes, everyone can take their blindfolds off and see what their partner's work looks like!

Telephone
Hardly a new game, Telephone is still a fun game to play whenever there is a group present. The attendees line up. The first person comes up with a phrase, then whispers it to the next in line and so on down the line, until the last person says what they heard. For more of a challenge, have music playing in the background.

Slapjack
This game is played with a regular 52-card deck of cards. One person is the dealer. Everyone else sits around the table. The dealer deals the cards face up in a pile and whenever a Jack is dealt, the first person to slap it gets the cards under it. Whoever has the most cards at the end of the game wins.

Charades
For those who don't know how to play, everyone writes down something for another person to act out. Everything goes into a hat, and people draw from the hat when it's their turn. That person silently acts out whatever they pulled out of the hat, and the first person to guess it gets a point. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins.

Hot Potato
This can be done with a real potato, a water balloon, or even just a ball. Have one person turn their back to the group. Everyone else stands in a circle. The object is handed person to person until the music stops; whoever has it then it "out" and must sit outside the circle. The last person "in" wins.
