For many years, some of my favorite snack foods have been the many varieties of Lay's(R) Potato Chips. With over 50 varieties of potato chips to choose from, I have never tired of eating Lay's Potato Chips. Just recently, my father gave me a large bag of Lay's(R) brand Lightly Salted Potato Chips, which I had never eaten before. My wonderful father, who regularly practices sensible eating habits, thinks that the lightly salted variety of Lay's(R) Potato Chips are just as flavorful as the regular varieties. While being very grateful for the gift of food that I received, I was nonetheless somewhat hesitant to try the lightly salted potato chips. After years of enjoying delicious Lay's(R) Potato Chip varieties such as Barbecue, Cheddar & Sour Cream, Sea Salt & Vinegar and Lay's(R) Classic Potato Chips, I was unsure if a lightly salted variety of potato chips would be able to satisfy my appetite. As soon as I opened the bag of Lay's(R) Lightly Salted Potato Chips, all of my uncertainty disappeared. Upon my very first bite, I became very impressed. In the past, I have eaten lower- sodium versions of other types of food products and generally felt that such products, although well- intended, did not deliver truly satisfying levels of flavor. The Lay's(R) brand Lightly Salted Potato Chips, which feature 50% less sodium than Lay's(R) brand Classic Potato Chips, completely de- bunked that theory. Although there is a slight difference in taste due to the lower level of sodium, the difference is miniscule. All of the real potato flavor and crispiness that make Lay's(R) Potato Chips irresistible is present in their lightly salted variety.Their world- famous slogan, which says;"Betcha can't eat just one" certainly applies to their lower- sodium variety of potato chips, as well as their many regular varieties of potato chips.
