Spring is when the birds start chirping and flowers start blooming. Everything starts to come back to life. During the winter, it was as if everything stopped, and just went into hibernation, unfortunately including the sun!

Now, the sun is about to come out and play, and so will everyone else. We spent the winter indoors, and now we're ready to get out and do something! We're sick of feeling cooped up inside, and ready to shed the cabin fever that encompassed our weary souls.

So what are some great ideas for what to do on a date this spring?

1. Have a picnic. Celebrate the fact that you can go outside and it's warm enough to feel your toes after ten minutes! This is a very inexpensive date idea. You could pick up some chicken somewhere like KFC, or even make your own. Make sure to bring drinks along, so you're not in the middle of a field somewhere without any beverages! Your date will appreciate the fact that you created your own meal, or even that you took the time to help your date relax in the spring air.

2. Museums. Check out the local museums and see what's going on. There are often many interesting exhibits during the winter that carry over to spring, and then new ones that start as the weather changes. For instance, a museum in Milwaukee is featuring the famous Body Works exhibit right now! This is a great date idea, especially a first date, because you have a chance to talk while viewing the exhibits. It's not like a movie when noone can really say anything, and not as awkward as eating in front of someone for the first time.

3. If you are going to go to a restaurant for your date, to save money try buying one of the entertainment books, which offer two for one meals to many local restaurants. You can purchase a book that includes local establishments. This will save money! Make sure to go on enough dates to make it worthwhile for purchasing the book!

I was always a lover of inexpensive dates. So your article even if well written didn`t give me any new ideas. The cheapest date I ever had in the springtime was on her roof. It gave me easy access to the refrigerator---yummy!!
