You can shop safely with any Luxottica retail store. They guarantee customer satisfaction. It's true and I'm going to tell you what I have witnessed personally at Lenscrafters. A customer who had purchased a pair of sunglasses past the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee, by three months, was not really happy with the frame he chose. To satisfy the customer a new pair of glasses were made at no extra charge, having it approved by the manager of course. I have seen customer satisfaction miracles at Lenscrafters that I have never seen anywhere else.

If you think you're getting great deals at Cohen'sOptical, think again. I hope you are purchasing glasses from them with your AmericanExpress card because they will never give you your money back. At least your Amex card will make it safer to make a purchase or return.

An Optometrist at a Cohen's franchise in Astoria Queens shocked me with her unprofessional conduct as a doctor of Optometry and I hope one day will be stripped of her license for unethical practices. On my first day of work at a Cohen's there a customer walked in wanting his prescription filled in an inexpensive frame. He mentioned he didn't want a brand name frame. As I had already mentioned the prices for frame and lenses the doctor was listening in on the conversation and called me into her office and told me to raise the prices. As I refused she had insisted that I quote him higher prices "because he looks like he can spend more money,"she said. The customer was furious and walked out.

Did You Know?
Did you know that you do not pay tax on medical products like prescription eyewear? Be aware of this fact because some opticals try to slip in the tax on prescription eyewear anyway and consumers are most likely to fall for it!

This was an interesting read; I never thought the optometrist would be so unethical! Gotta support my fellow Queens CP's =)
