BUST = player will register far below their 2007 stat totals
BREAKOUT = player will surpass expectations and/or have a career year in 2008
SLEEPER = player will be a late round pick or go undrafted and has a good chance of producing fantasy worthy stats in 2008

TOP 10 SHORTSTOPS:

1. Jose Reyes - New York Mets

Last year's #1 rated shortstop failed to live up to the hype in '07, however Reyes still managed to finish third among shortstops after Hanley Ramirez and Jimmy Rollins. Reyes' best asset is his speed, which netted him 78 stolen bases and 119 runs scored last season. However even more is expected of Reyes in '08 as he should come close to hitting 20 homeruns along with his 70 plus stolen bases. As of now he is still the best fantasy shortstop in the game. Barely.
2007 stats: 119 runs, 12 homeruns, 57 rbi, 78 stolen bases, .280 average.

2. Hanley Ramirez - Florida Marlins

Ramirez exploded onto the fantasy scene in '07 as he led all shortstop in yahoo fantasy scoring. His excellent combination of power and speed is barreling down on Reyes and the number one spot. Another 20 plus homeruns, 40 stolen bases, and nearly 100 rbi's can be expected in 2008.
2007 stats: 125 runs, 29 homeruns, 81 rbi, 51 stolen bases, .332 average.

3. Jimmy Rollins - Philadelphia Phillies

Plainly put, Rollins had a career year in 2007 so expecting somewhat of a fallback in 2008 is very likely. His career batting average of .277 is far below the .296 he batted last year, so another near .300 batting average is probably not very likely. However 20 homeruns and around 40 stolen bases is a good bet.
2007 stats: 139 runs, 30 homeruns, 94 rbi, 41 steals, .296 average

4. Troy Tulowitzki - Colorado Rockies
