All rankings are based off of a standard 5x5 rotisserie scoring system (runs, homeruns, rbi, stolen bases, average) in mixed AL/NL leagues. For additional fantasy information on players and their teams, click on the team name link after each player to view a fantasy team preview for that team in 2008. Good luck in your league this season!

BUST = player will register far below their 2007 stat totals
BREAKOUT = player will surpass expectations and/or have a career year in 2008
SLEEPER = player will be a late round pick or go undrafted and has a good chance of producing fantasy worthy stats in 2008

1. Matt Holiday - Colorado Rockies
After a career year, Holiday is the best fantasy outfielder available.

2. Alfonso Soriano - Chicago Cubs
If should rediscover his magic on the base paths in '08.

3. Grady Sizemore - Cleveland Indians
20 homeruns and 30 stolen bases. Not bad for a leadoff man.

4. Magglio Ordonez - Detroit Tigers
Who would have thought Maggs still had it in him?

5. Carl Crawford - Tampa Bay Rays
Wasn't he supposed to develop power as he got older? At least the 50 steals are guaranteed.

6. Vladimir Guerrero - Los Angeles Angels
No more 20 steals a year, but everything else is still there.

7. Carlos Beltran - New York Mets
The whole New York atmosphere never worked out for Beltran.

8. BJ Upton - Tampa Bay Rays
Upton is a younger version of Soriano.

9. Ichiro Suzuki - Seattle Mariners
Mr. Rock Solid Ichiro.

10. Carlos Lee - Houston Astros

11. Lance Berkman - Houston Astros

12. Alex Rios - Toronto Blue Jays BREAKOUT
Rios is suddenly better than former fantasy star teammate Vernon Wells.

13. Curtis Granderson - Detroit Tigers

14. Chone Figgins - Los Angeles Angels

15. Manny Ramirez - Boston Red Sox BUST
Age may finally be catching up to Manny.

16. Hunter Pence - Houston Astros BREAKOUT

17. Nick Markakis - Baltimore Orioles

18. Torii Hunter - Los Angeles Angels BUST

19. Adam Dunn - Cincinnati Reds
Batting average is his only downfall.

20. Eric Byrnes - Arizona Diamondbacks BUST

21. Vernon Wells - Toronto Blue Jays

22. Nick Swisher - Chicago White Sox

23. Corey Hart - Milwaukee Brewers
Proven 20-20 guy has room to grow into a 30-30 in '08.
