BUST = player will register far below their 2007 stat totals
BREAKOUT = player will surpass expectations and/or have a career year in 2008
SLEEPER = player will be a late round pick or go undrafted and has a good chance of producing fantasy worthy stats in 2008

1. Johan Santana - New York Mets
The best fantasy pitcher in the world right now. Hopefully NY doesn't mess with him like it did Carlos Beltran.

2. Jake Peavy - San Diego Padres
Came back with a bang in '07.

3. Josh Beckett - Boston Red Sox
Beckett proved he was worth his money in '07.

4. Brandon Webb - Arizona Diamondbacks
Webb has been solid ever since he came to the majors.

5. CC Sabathia - Cleveland Indians
Finally the ace the Indians and fantasy owners new he could be.

6. Erik Bedard - Seattle Mariners

7. Justin Verlander - Detroit Tigers
Young flamethrower with an extraordinary offense backing him should mean 20 wins in '08.

8. John Lackey - Los Angeles Angels

9. Cole Hamels - Philadelphia Phillies

10. Dan Haren - Arizona Diamondbacks
Is he really as good as his one year in Oakland suggests?

11. Carlos Zambrano - Chicago Cubs

12. Roy Oswalt - Houston Astros
Stumbled a bit in '07.

13. Roy Halladay - Toronto Blue Jays
Halladay is a workhorse that may be starting to wear down. Watch out.

14. Scott Kazmir - Tampa Bay Rays

Strikeout champion found his grove after the all-star break.

15. Chris Young - San Diego Padres BREAKOUT
A great fantasy pitcher who just cannot seem to get the ever important wins.

16. Chien Ming Wang - New York Yankees
