Terrelle Pryor is the number one prospect in the country according to most recruiting sites, but where will he play? His commitment has been the subject of much speculation for the past 3-4 months at least as the young man many call the next Vince Young at the quarterback position has attempted to make up his mind. The only problem with that is that it's taken a very, very long time and fans of four different colleges are waiting on pins and needles for him to decide.
The final four schools for Terrelle Pryor include Ohio State, Penn State, Oregon, and the Michigan Wolverines. As of right now it appears that Ohio State is the front runner, mainly because they have been recruiting him the longest and he has a bunch of friends on the Buckeyes' team that are coming in this year as high school recruits.
Pryor was supposed to originally decide on National Signing Day which school he was going to pick but since then he has decided to wait it out. Pryor decided on this course of action because of the fact that he was so busy he never got a chance to visit Penn State officially or to take a trip out to Oregon to visit with head coach Mike Belotti. Pryor was so busy with school and tons of basketball games he had to make up because his school won the state championship in football that he found himself too exhausted, stressed out, and not quite sure enough to make a final decision.
Rumor has it that his father wants him to stay close to home and attend Penn State to play for Joe Paterno but Pryor doesn't seem too keen on that idea as of right now. Much could change on his official visit to the Nittany Lions' campus in that regard, however.
Oregon is the dark horse in all of this because they have great facilities sponsored by Nike boss Phil Knight and they're likely to blow him away, plus they've shown just how good they can be with a dynamic quarterback at the helm like they did in 2007 with Heisman Trophy candidate Dennis Dixon.
Michigan was looking like a favorite a few weeks back with new coach Rich Rodriguez aboard but they seem like a distant third or fourth in the race right now.
