Health
The Turkey Medallions frozen dinner from Boston Market contains 360 calories. There is a significant amount of fat, sodium and cholesterol. I was surprised to learn that this Boston Market frozen dinner had a lot of protein in it. It seems to be a seesaw of both helpful and not-so-ideal nutrition facts. This frozen dinner has a lot of Vitamin A and some calcium, iron and Vitamin C. That may be enough to ignore the high sodium level, but that is a choice that should be made on an individual basis. The diet and health of a college freshman could be much different than that of a parent with three children and a history of health concerns.

Quality
This is the category where Boston Market Frozen Dinners beat out the competition ten to none. Although the Turkey Medallions frozen meal comes in a large box, this could have easily been deceiving. Luckily, the size of the box was just a mere cover for the large tray that lies inside. This frozen meal comes with pieces of white meat turkey breast, mashed potatoes with gravy and a vegetable mixture. The veggie combination includes carrots and green beans.

There is a large portion of both the main course and those two side items. The Boston Market Turkey Medallions frozen dinner is filling and will not make you want an extra snack afterward. The size puts many other frozen "meals" to shame, as it appears to be more of an adult-sized meal rather than something we force ourselves to eat while trying to lose weight. I was glad to have been able to eat one meal without having to grab something else later on in the evening. Those little "snacks" that we eat between meals can actually add to unnecessary and unwanted weight gain.

Takeaways
  • I was surprised to learn that this Boston Market frozen dinner had a lot of protein in it.
  • The Boston Market Turkey Medallions frozen dinner is filling.
  • Boston Market Frozen Dinners are costly.

Well rounded review. I had one of these last night and thought it was pretty tasty for a frozen dinner.
