Vladimir Lenin"Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power". As I witness the 4 year pageantry, that has become the US Presidential Elections and the tragic erosion of America's customs, culture, language, borders, and sovereignty, these quotes seem to becoming prophetic., one of the fathers of Communism and the Russian Revelation, once defined Fascism as "capitalism in decay" and Benito Mussolini, Italy's leader during the second world war said,

Today it is more blatantly clear that the US government is working not for the interests of the American people, but the US corporations. From everything from the enablement of millions of illegal immigrant's entry into America, particularly from Mexico, the un-constitutional military intervention and occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, to the wholesale transfer of America's technological and manufacturing complex to countries such as, Communist China, Russia, and India that has lead to a doubling of the US trade imbalance since the appointment of GW Bush. There has been few times in America's history that the people have felt so abandoned by the federal leaders as is evidenced by the historic disapproval of both the US Congress and White House. With such critical issues that face the nation, such as the amassing of 40 million indigent illegal Mexican immigrants within the country causing great economic and social stress on the infrastructure and economic foundation of the nation, the growing threat and dominance of Communist China and Russia, enhanced by a asinine and treasonous trade policy, and coupled this with a nation becoming more of a debt nation, both governmentally and individually, the current political status seems willing to do anything to reverse the situation.

Update: It seems as if the surveillance has stopped or grown distant but now, things are a little too quiet. However, even top astrologers say that when fascism arrives, it will be very subtle like right now, I believe a bill just passed (or is about to pass) that authorizes certain officials to spy on Americans through their telephone lines. If you get a chance, watch this movie called The Lives of Others. It's about how fascism arose in post-World War II Germany and it's frightening to see how power, when placed in the wrong hands, can be used to brutalize and terrorize innocent people.

Your article is very poignant. As a human rights activist, I am very very worried about the direction this country is going in. I believe that fascism is coming in very very slowly but it's definitely upon us. I wouldn't though just be worried about this but also about the fat hysteria in this country too. Unfortunately, as I have been the victim of death threats, phone tampering, email tampering and other crazy things, I don't think this is going away anytime soon. It's sad that criticism of the Iraq War brings survillance and not discussion.

I do appreciate you taking the time to read my article and respond to it. But, first just because the president say or do something does not make it Constitutional. That is why the framers place the final determinate the American people to hold the US politicians to their oaths to uphold and protect the Constitution. But, if we don't take the responsibility to read and comprehend the Constitution then they can freely usurp and defame it without real penalty. And secondly, a resolution is not the same a declaration, look up the definitions, as well as find where in the Constitution the Congress has the right or authority to send America's sons and daughters into conflict with a resolution of war? I do appreciate yours service in the US military, but if you were to read the Constitution that you too have sworn an oath to uphold and protect than you may have a truer understand of Constitutionality. Besides you didn't raise one issue with the basis of my article, fascism.
