You knew it was coming. You just KNEW it was coming. It wasn't a matter of "if," just a matter of when. Find the highest profile issue in media, attempt to weave some ill-informed argument concerning racial disparity into the public discourse and sure enough, Rev. Sharpie will be somewhere in the midst.

Rev. "Sharpie" is now beating his media drum and stoking the racial fires in the steroids battle, attempting to make the argument that Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens have been handled in disparate manners by the press, courts and congress.

Yes, Sharpie is doing what he does best, grandstanding over issues of insignificance and inconsequence, while remaining firm in his attempt to keep his name at the forefront of the media.

That's what "entertainers" do.

They grandstand and sign autographs with their Sharpie. And Rev. Sharpie does it well.

Al Sharpton has nothing to say on his "friend" Troi 'Star' Torain, but has time to make a statement on the steroids scandal.

Unbelievable.

Actually, it is believable...just indefensible.

Instead of waiting to see if Clemens would also be indicted on perjury charges as was Bonds (note Bonds was indicted after FOUR YEARS of speculation), Sharpie was more concerned with being FIRST to claim disparate treatment along racial lines.I've got his "disparate treatment" right here.

Barry Bonds 2007 indictment for perjury stemmed from 2003 grand jury testimony. Note the math here...

FOUR years.

Clemens finished testifying when? 20 minutes ago? That is "disparate treatment" in and of itself. Couldn't he have AT LEAST waited until March, or maybe 2009?

At least?!

He'll get no disagreement from Mo'Kelly that members of the media have been more "kind" and "reluctant to accuse" Clemens of steroid infidelity. Mo'Kelly understands that and isn't blind to these truths.
