I Punished the Dreamer

I punished the dreamer. I locked him away and kept him there, I punished him for making me believe such things. Without me realizing it, I blamed him for my dissapointment and sadness.

The Dreamer and the Hopeless Romantic

With the same ability that I immersed myself in a world where love, romance and dreams reigned I also managed to sink in loneliness, depression and hopelessness. The deeper I sank in the turmoil and madness of a sea of desesperation the further and further away I left behind the Dreamer. The Hopeless Romantic was dying but not entirely dead. Then the Dreamer said on to the Romantic: "Dont lose hope. Im here. Just set me free and I shall be waiting for you in the surface".

The Need to be in Love

Love puts color in my world. Love triggers and stimulates the Dreamer. It entices him to dream. Everything I look at acquires a different taste and pleasantly stirs up my emotions. Life's simple tasks seem unbearable if Im not in love. Suddenly, the world acquires shades of grey and white and lose all their color. Illusion escapes my heart and I feel dead and lifeless; stiff and stagnant. My inspiration runs dry and I feel a sense of insanity overcome me. It is a horrible feeling which prolongs itself. I need to be in love.

* My work is mostly inspired on love, dreams, people and places and written while in my calmer more reflective moods.
