Lindsey Lohan Naked, Amy Winehouse Rewarded, Mischa Barton Smoking Pot: Celebrities Making Wrong Choices!

What in the world is going on here? I swear you can't read a paper or watch a newscast without seeing a new poor choice involving some young so called "star" or celebrity. Many of these are role models for our youth - the very same youth that we will leave this world to - again I ask, what in the world is going on here?

Lindsey Lohan has the honor of being our latest "She did what?" star. Apparently after bouncing in and out of rehab, the star figures what better way to get back on track than to pose nude? Not only did she pose nude, but she did it in a photos shoot that mimicking Marilyn Monroe: the original tabloid queen! Now there's a plan!

The 21 year old tells the New Yorker that she has purchased an apartment where Marilyn once lived but states " I sure as hell wouldn't let it happen to me" when talking about the deaths of Monroe and the more recently, Heath Ledger. And yet, one can't help but see this as a sad statement with odd parallels: Monroe had a short stay in a psychiatric ward in 1961 while Lindsey has already spent time in rehab, they both would hit the tabloids with their impaired behavioral choices and they both seemed to take more steps to tarnish their careers than to shine them.

Seems to me, this is nude lay out is only going to cause her more flack - one, she weighs nothing so that is bound to be negatively compared to Monroe's curves and two, how can copying an icon ever be good? It only brings to mind the fact the poor child hasn't got a unique idea in her.

The Lohan shot was done by Bert Stern: the same photographer who back in 1962, did the Monroe photos: six weeks before her death. I am not sure which of them is using the other one more but let's hope the same fate doesn't follow Lindsey Lohan!

Amy Winehouse is another great example. Here is a 24 year old singer that exhibits totally unacceptable behavior and is then rewarded by the music industry: including for a song titled rehab! What was even better is that she sends out a holler to her incarcerated husband: Blake Fielder-Civil. Have to love that!
