From bosses to law enforcement, World Wrestling Entertainment has gone through its fair share of authority figures. There is Big Boss Man, Vince McMahon, Right to Censor, and others, but one of the most underrated is the Mountie. A former tag team member of the Rougeau Brothers, the Mountie branched off on his own to create memorable matches and a great character that's a part of WWE history. Here is a look at the best Mountie matches in the WWE.

1991 Royal Rumble: One of the Mountie's first big matches in the WWE was against the legend Koko B. Ware. The Mountie would put a quick stop to Koko's in-ring dancing as he defeated him with the upset victory. This was an impressive start for the Mountie and great to have him go up against a legend in one of his first big singles match in the WWE.

Wrestlemania VII: After the Royal Rumble, the Mountie strolled right into Wrestlemania to face another legend, Tito Santana. Wrestlemania VII's main theme was red, white, and blue, but The Mountie showed his Canadian homeland proud when he defeated Santana. He used the help of his shock stick, which became a very valuable tool in many of future matches.

Summerslam 1991: The Mountie's push continued and he faced many challengers while proclaiming to be the top authority figure in the WWE. This claim was challenged by another law enforcement wrestler, the Big Boss Man, and eventually led to a match at the 1991 Summerslam. This match was a Jailhouse match, where the losing wrestler would have to spend a night in jail. The Big Boss Man proved to be too much for the Mountie and he ended up losing the match and forced to go to jail. The Mountie would come back though and continue to be a authority force in the WWE.

1992: The Mountie continued to climb up in the WWE and eh finally got his shot at WWE gold when he went against the Intercontinental champion Bret Hart. Granted Bret Hart did have the flu, but the Mountie was still impressive in this match and prevailed when he won his first WWE single's gold.
