How to Be a Fan of George Clooney

Step 1:
"Facts of Life." You may be wondering what Blair, Natalie, Jo and Tootie have in common with George. Well, believe it or not for two seasons George was actually a featured actor on the popular '80s show. Portraying George Bennett, the good natured carpenter, George traded lines with Tootie and the gang and sported the requisite '80s mullet.

Step 2
"Return of the Killer Tomatoes," Every actor has to get their start somewhere and for George, this was his first big movie. In this 1980s slapstick farce, George goes for the laughs sporting fluffy long hair and dreamily, droopy eyes.

Step 3:
"ER." In the role that made him a star, George made women swoon as the original Dr. McDreamy, Dr. Douglas Ross.

Step 4:
"Three Kings." In his first big movie role post-"ER", George portrays Major Archie Gates who, along with three soldier buddies, attempt to steal a stash of Kuwaiti gold at the end of the Persian Gulf War. Instead however, they find themselves getting involved with civilians being executed by Saddam Hussein and left defenseless by the U.S. military. Critically lauded, "Three Kings" was very well received at the box office and showed George in all his male hunkiness.

Step 5:
"Out of Sight." Here George stars as Jack Foley, a bank robber who escapes from prison, attempts to rob a tycoon and seduces the female marshal (Jennifer Lopez) out to capture him. As a movie goer, you'll enjoy the "Pulp Fiction"-like story. Women will absolutely drool over George's six-pack abs.

Step 6:
"Confessions of a Dangerous Mind." It's George's directorial debut. Based on the cult memoir of the same name, game show impresario Chuck Barris claims to have a double life-television producer by day, CIA assassin by night. George has a small role in the film as CIA Special Agent Jim Byrd who recruits Barris to become a hired killer for the federal government.

Step 7:
"Oceans 11, 12 and 13." Only George can re-make a movie that starred Frank Sinatra and make it better than the original. As Danny Ocean, George is all cool, suave and charming.
