The Corrs: My Favorite Band's Top 10 Songs

Who is your favorite artist or band? Without a doubt, the gorgeous four siblings that make up "The Corrs" are my top favorite. The group is made up of Andrea, Caroline, Jim and Sharon. Not only does this Irish group all have the striking beauty of runway models, they are also blessed with
musical talents. All participate in the vocals, but more specifically - Andrea takes the lead vocals, Caroline is the band's drummer, Jim is on guitars and keyboards, and Sharon is the accomplished violinist.

Although I only began listening to this band during their popular album "In Blue" around the late '90s, I loved their upbeat rock style. Since listening to "In Blue," I discovered the other albums they had composed earlier and any albums that came out afterward.

1. Breathless - I first heard this famous song on the radio. I loved their vocals and catchy tune and wondered who this group was. Since I grew to love this song immediately, I bought their CD "In Blue."

2. So Young - I found this song on an earlier album of theirs and knew I had heard it somewhere before. Maybe on a TV show or a commercial. But this uplifting song makes you feel or recall the joy and fun of your youth.

3. Summer Sunshine - From their album "Borrowed Heaven," the guitar hooks grab your attention to the song. Along with the group's singing, the catchy song calls to be replayed and sung with over and over.

4. Angel - Oddly lively and upbeat, this song discusses the death of a loved one. I'm only guessing since I haven't read it anywhere, but I think the song is dedicated to their mother. It is one of my favorites because of the melody and unique lyrics, "Does the sun shine up at you when you are looking down? Do you get along with the others around?"

5. Somebody for Someone - This sweet song, on their "In Blue" album, tells a longing story of a girl wanting to be noticed and loved, as well as the boy watching her wanting the same.

6. No Good for Me - On their "Talk On Corners" album, but not really well-known, this is a cute song seen from the perspective of a girl wanting the guy who's not available.
