Product Review: Skywalker 12' Round Trampoline and Safety Enclosure Combo
Her mother loves the safety enclosure because she feels comfortable letting her daughter bounce without being there to watch her every minute. The net attaches at each of the springs so there are no big gaps between the mat and the net as there are with many other models where young children could fall through. The 6 w-shaped legs make the whole system very stable. The springs and frame are covered by safety pads. I remember getting my hair caught in a spring once when I was younger. That was not a fun experience. It doesn't look possible with the safety pads covering them.
We left the trampoline outside all summer last year and it held up very well. The springs are coated to prevent rust and I did not see rust anywhere on the entire thing. The mat has UV protection and is just as soft and bouncy as when we bought it.
The assembly was pretty easy. I put it together myself but it probably would have been a little easier to have someone else hold the other ends of the pieces. There was no rope to loop through the springs and the net like in another model I helped set up once. This made things go much quicker.
The trampoline can hold up to 250 pounds. This is a nice amount as a child and adult can be on together or a few kids can enjoy it together. It got used almost every day while the weather outside was nice and the stitching held up wonderfully.
I purchased the Skywalker from Walmart.com and received it in 4 days with their cheapest shipping.
This product is a great way to get your kids to exercise. It is disguised as fun so they will be more likely to do it. The safety net allows them to try all kinds of flips and jumps they might otherwise be afraid to try for fear of falling off. Overall, this is a great product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a little fun.
