These cards are an easy way for kids to wish their family and friends a happy Easter.

Ribbon Easter Card

Craft materials:

1 piece of cardstock

1 yard of 1/4 inch pastel yellow ribbon

1 yard of 1/2 inch pastel blue ribbon

1 yard of 3/4 inch pastel green ribbon

Glue

Pencil

Instructions:

Fold the piece of cardstock in half to make a card.
Write Easter greeting on the inside of the card.

On the front of the card

The yellow ribbon will form an x.
The blue ribbon will form a +.
The green ribbon will trim the outside of the card.

Take the yellow ribbon and measure from top left corner to bottom right corner, cut and glue. Take another piece of the yellow and do the same from the top right corner to the bottom left, cut and glue.

Next take the blue ribbon and measure from the middle of the top to the middle of the bottom of the card, cut and glue. Take the blue ribbon again and measure from the middle of the left side of the card to the middle of the right side, cut and glue.

Now with the green ribbon measure the top of the card to the bottom and cut two. Glue one on the left side of the card to make a border and then do the same to the right side. Take the green ribbon again and measure the left side of the card to the right side and cut two. Glue one on the top to make a border and the same to the bottom.

Seed Bead Egg Easter Card

Craft materials:

1 piece of cardstock

3 different colors of seed beads

Piece of yarn

White glue

Toothpick

Pencil

Instructions:

Fold the cardstock in half to make a card.
Write your Easter greeting on the inside of the card.

On the front of the card draw an egg shape, about 3/4 of the size of the card. About 1/3 of the way down in the egg, draw a squiggly line and then again about 3/4 of the way down.

Next take the piece of yarn and glue it on the egg shape and then the two squiggly lines. Smooth the glue around in one of the thirds of the egg. Take one of the colors of seed beads and gently sprinkle them on to the glue. Take the tooth pick and move seed beads where needed. Do the same with the other thirds, each with the other colors. Let dry thoroughly and then turn card over to get off any excess beads that may have not been glued.
