My 10 Favorite Chris Tomlin Worship Songs

Worship music, more than anything, brings me into God's presence. Although God's presence is always there, when I worship, I can almost feel God's tender embrace. It is so powerful that at times I can't help but tear up as God's presence and love is poured out on me as I worship. I'm renewed, encouraged, and even healed on an emotional and spiritual level as I worship God through music.

Although there are many Christian music artists who write and perform worship songs, Chris Tomlin is one of my favorites. His songs are simple, but profound. They also tend to be easy to sing along with which makes them great for corporate worship. In fact, each of the 10 songs listed below are sung regularly in my church on Sunday mornings, and each of them have impacted my life during times of corporate and individual worship.

Why it's meaningful: It takes my breath away when I think that the God of the universe is intensely interested in the details of my life. He is never too busy and is always ready and willing to spend time with me when I only slow down enough to talk to Him. On top of that, I never have to question His love and never have to worry that I might somehow lose His love; it's constant and unfailing. There's a great deal of security in God's unfailing, unconditional love.
