If you are having trouble in a relationship - and the advice of friends and family aren't making things better, maybe it is time to consider going online for romantic advice, dating tips and answers to your questions. There are pros and cons to seeking free relationship advice online. A major plus is the chance to seek out romantic information and views while remaining relatively anonymous. You can also get a current and national take on how some men and women feel about love and romance today.

Some answers may surprise you. They certainly did when I checked out these sites, with some unusual or even kinky sexual and romantic advice. Other sites may actually provide useful info that you can apply to your own life, even if you're already married and no longer searching for the "special someone" anymore.

There are a huge number of sites for free relationship advice. It was hard to limit my list only to the ones I've listed. But I did - and I'll note why I found them worth a visit.

One important point I want to make is that I did not list sites with marriage or relationship advice for people who want to meet those with certain religious beliefs.

Here's why: I don't consider myself an expert in knowing which of those sites is best for each particular religion. However, at many of the sites I've listed you can find subtopics and forums or relationship advice for Christan and Jewish people as well as followers of many other religious groups and beliefs. You can decide if such a group is an option you'd like.

So here is my list of the other sites out there:

Free relationship advice for fans of Dr. Phil:

If you think Dr. Phi's advice is on target much of the time, you are not alone. Millions tune in to watch his show.I'm listing his site first because of the sheer number of viewers he has. Many may not know that they can get tips on dating, keeping romance alive in a marriage or other topics having to do with love, passion, sex, communications and other aspects of a relationship.

Takeaways
  • Free online sites for married or single people looking for love
  • Pros and cons of free romantic advice at each site
  • Romantic advice for niche couples, like gardening couples

Sophie- I was wary of Dr Phil and, as I noted, I still think this: " Some of the info seems overly glib and advice related to specific shows can smack of a soap opera". I don't watch his show regularly because I think he crosses the border and exploits guests who are weak or vulnerable and his tv show has to turn a profit, skewing his performance and the drama there to fit that....... That is my personal take. However, when it comes to giving general advice, the type he writes online or in magazines, his suggestions are often surprisingly on target with what many professional counselors and even ministers suggest when faced with certain situations. I was surprised by this!

I have to admit that I'm not a Dr. Phil fan. He just seems very opinionated and rude at times. Sophie

LOL @ speed dating.... this is good info. I am not too fond of dating sites. I would rather just sit back, get my stuff straight and let him find me, love me and all that good stuff :)

I think every couple, whether they're married or just dating, need relationship advice at some point. If anything, couples can get ideas on how to spice things up a bit ;)
