Bill O'Reilly's Top Ten Dumbest Quotes

Recently Bill O'Reilly has come under fire for using the word lynching in response to what Michelle Obama said on her husband's campaign trail.

1. "And I don't want to go on a lynching party against Michelle Obama unless there's evidence, hard facts, that say this is how the woman really feels. If that's how she really feels -- that America is a bad country or a flawed nation, whatever -- then that's legit. We'll track it down."

This is Bill O'Reilly's latest gem, in response to Barack Obama's wife's comment about finally being proud of her country. I can only respond with a hearty "Oh no you didn't." Bill has apparently missed the bus to the 21st Century. To make matters worse, Bill O'Reilly added his signature threat to the end of his statement. It all makes me want to cower in fear and say, "Yes Massa, yes Massa."

But this isn't the first time Bill O'Reilly's had diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain. Here are a number of other dumb qouations muttered and sputtered by the oblivious Bill O'Reilly.

2. "When you call us, ladies and gentlemen, just so you know, we do have your phone number, and if you say anything untoward, obscene, or anything like that, Fox security will then contact your local authorities, and you will be held accountable." (Source)

Last year he said this on his radio show. There he is, everybody. Bill O'Reilly, champion of free speech, protecting America from loose tongued infidels who prank call his radio station.

3. "I just wish Katrina had only hit the United Nations building, nothing else, just had flooded them out, and I wouldn't have rescued them." --radio show, Sept. 14, 2005

Those don't seem like good Christian statements to me. Bill O'Reilly, protector of all things Christmas apparently only believes in goodwill towards American men. If asked, would Bill O'Reilly insist that God is an American? Does He drive a gas guzzling pickup truck with a gun rack and confederate flag license plate?

Stupid is pretty self explanatory, Todd. But had I just listed 10 dumb quotes by Bill O, I doubt very much that AC would have paid me anything at all.

Whenever you have to write a paragraph after a quote to explain that its "stupid," it says something about your desperation and patheticness.

I liked O'Reilly when I first saw him on TV eight years ago, but his ego seems to have spiraled out of control. He's sort of the Bobby Knight of the talking-head news programs. These men are successful because Middle America is out of touch with reality. He speaks for millions of ignorant A-holes who don't have any other way of expressing themselves. America is crawling with arrogant egomaniacs just like him.

I'm not a big fan of O'Reilly, but I do have some friends and in-laws who like to watch him. Personally, I find him annoying and your quotes do a good job of reminding me WHY I don't like him. The only positive thing I can say on his behalf is that his "expose'" on the Red Cross money, related to 9/11, did point out some problems with that organization. I'm not saying the Red Cross is evil incarnate, but when you donate money to a particular disaster, it should go to THOSE people for whom you intended. But the Red Cross is one of many organizations with this shortcoming. Overall though, the guy is not worth watching.

I hope he gets the worst kind of throat cancer, so we don't have to listen to his crap anymore. But then again, he does make for a good laugh!

The biggest problem I see with Bill O'really is that he has a public forum and that a whole lot of Narcissistic Americans think and act just like him........

Bill O'Reilly is a entertainer and a lousy one at that. The moment you take him seriously it's over. www.madnessletters.com

The really scary thing that he does now are these ambush interviews where he corners someone who does something he disagrees with by having his crew wait outside someone's home or place of work.
