I contracted chicken pox 3 times. Many people don't believe me when I tell them, but I've since learned that immunity to it wanes over time, so it is certainly possible to get chicken pox more than once. Sophie

I can remember having chicken pox years ago and still have a small scar on my face from it. I thought they had a vaccine for this now a days. Maybe I am wrong. I do know that having had chicken pox I am more prone to get shingles.I've been lucky but my husband has had them several times and they are quite painful.
