Valentine Day had always been a tough holiday for me.

In 1988 I married a good Christian girl named Julia and we c/celebrated our first year of marriage, Feb. 6 1989. Two days later I celebrated my birthday and next week is Valentine's Day.

Life was good we were still honeymooning so to speak, and I loved her with all my heart

She was killed on Valentine Day.

Needless to say I was devastated and had become very angry with God.

I had prayed for this wife " You give her to me and then take her."

So many years and as this day approached, I would isolate myself from those enjoying the holiday of love, after all I was aware enough to not want to take away from anyone's joy with my misfortune.

I had become hardened over the years and just accepted the heartache and tried to carry on like everything is alright, "who ever told you life was fair?" and had become quite lonely,

I have a facebook and maybe five or six friends and was lead to a few social networks and found this site called Yuwie. I joined mostly due to the Ad that said I would get paid for everything I was a;ready doing, and I was curious.

"Love Conquers All! A woman's heart should be so lost in God, that a man must seek him first in Order to find her."

What? OK makes sense.
Who is this?

Drawing near the dreaded day of love, I was just surfing, adding friends, after all got to get them page views.

OK yes she's cute.

I started getting these valentine comments for days I would read them.....I can't spoil this with my misfortune....I read them and my heart began to soften.

Who is she?

An Artist and poet, an activist sends me a poem. I ascertain she is correct.

Two small Voices, a Whisper , a Roar.

Who is this?

Beautiful women surrounding me with love? Who are they? Are they angels?

People need your love!
Who are they show me. Real men love Jesus......yes they do.

My friends love me imagine that. My wife's name was Julia.
.....ahhh two new friends ummmmm both named Julie one seventy five , one black...like aged fine wine and tone like satin.

What is happening?

Be patient...
God what would you have me to do?

My friends God Bless you, through you I have heard the whisper of God.

I can identify with your loss. I didn't loose a spouse, but I had a granddaughter who was born with a rare form of muscular dystrophy. Then in Oct.2002,right before her 3rd birthday (NOV. 27),she was diagnosed with an inoperable/incurable brain tumor. She couldn't have surgery, radiation or chemo because of the MD. She went downhill fast and we had to watch her little body suffer.(She was more like a daughter than a granddaughter cause I babysat her 5 days a week. She died on Feb. 4,2003,3 yrs old. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas,New Years, and Valentines day and all in between is a very difficult time for me. I had a nervous breakdown and am still not the same. You seem to be a much stronger person than I was/am. I admire your poetic writing. Hold all of your precious memories close to your heart. Hugs, Lisa PS-When one door closes, God opens another. 9 months later, the day after Chyanne's birthday her sister,Hope, was born. She's what keeps me going!!! You will find love again.

I'm really sorry about this tragic situation. Who knows why things like this happen. I always look to see the lesson in it, sometimes thee just isn't any. I just wanted to say that Valentineds Day is not just for lovers. It's for friends to tell their friends how much they mean to each other. I think thats a good way to look at it. I hope you sre feeling better these dys. I know you never get over or forget but time does ease the pain. Bright Blessings, Christine

I'm sorry for your loss man. I couldn't imagine and don't want about my own. I find many of us always want to blame God for all the bad stuff that happens. Not sure why we do it. When there is a well know devil that is the one doing it. Even though God has to allow it. We need to remember. It is better to be home, than it is hear on this earth where sooo many thing go wrong. For myself I get jealous when people get to go home. But thats just me. I know I'm here for a reason. One day I will get to go home. Anyway bro. Remember this. You got the opportunity to share with her your life and hers with you for a short time before she went to Paradise. That is what God allowed. You will see her again, in Paradise. With all the stuff you've been through. I think this is a great step to move on and to help others get through what you've been through. Not sure if I'm helping or not. I don't know it all. But I do see you do have a lot of great friends, and just want to let you know

This is a beautiful piece. I am sorry for your loss, and I pray as time goes by you will allow love back into your heart.

When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence..... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you .' Meke Aloha Pumehana, DDiamond oxox
