Men Love a Little Backbone - Women Don't Have to Be Doormats Anymore

Do women need to be more self confident? So many women are told they need to be skinny, sweet, doormats, and yet I find that men like women with a little bit of backbone. Sure things get hard, and you don't have to be a nun. But still having values and sticking to certain beliefs can make you shine. I like being friends with guys, yet you have to define the relationship. I like starting out as friends. I don't like pushy short guys. I like to be able to relax and have a good time with a guy.

I may not be super skinny, but I work out and I like to try to stay fit. I try to keep under my highest weight because some men just like to have sex with fat women and not really have relationships with them. I met one and I really don't want to be pressured into having a lot of sex with anyone. I'm too busy trying to help save the world. I believe in Jesus. I like people. I think we need women to realize they don't need to be bad to be liked. Everyone respects someone with values, if you're respectful of others.

Too many people just say "who cares?" And do whatever the media tells them to. They do heroin, they have orgies. They do whatever they feel is "cool" when its really degrading. They have no self worth. They go where the wind blows. If it is raining, they are sad. If it is sunny they are happy. We are to have an inner joy through Jesus. Even when it hits the fan. I am so glad I have Jesus. I was never told I was beautiful, and there was a lot of mean people in High School trying to get me to do drugs. And it wasn't until I had gotten into a good church that I realized, I don't have to be super skinny to be a woman. I don't have to listen to what the mainstream media says about life.

I know there is nothing they can do to take away my peace. Even if most people in New Jersey were hedonists, I wouldn't have to bend to the pressure of what men say they want. When they are so short sighted and full of lust that I just have to do my thing and hope for the best.
