With the news that Michael Jackson's famous 2,800-acre spread, Neverland Ranch, is in foreclosure, one's mind begins to wonder how this vast piece of property could be used should it go to auction and sell. Before listing five possible uses for this site once in the new owner's hands, let's first take a closer look at the background and selling features of this grand property.

Neverland Ranch came to existence in 1988, when Michael Jackson settled on the property at 5225 Figueroa Rd, Los Olivios, California 93441. During its heyday, Neverland Ranch was bustling with activity, containing a zoo and a fully stocked theme park. Jackson hosted many gatherings, functions, and parties at Neverland Ranch.

While many of the events at Neverland Ranch were grand galas that received much positive news attention, Jackson's homestead also dominated the headlines with questions regarding the safety and welfare of children visiting Neverland Ranch. Some suggest children were allowed to do almost whatever they wanted on the property, and Neverland Ranch was at the center of allegations that Jackson sexually abused children on the property; these allegations were returned with "not guilty" verdicts.

So What Might the Future Be of Neverland Ranch?

What may come of Neverland Ranch if it is auctioned and sold to the highest bidder? With 2,800 acres, vineyards surrounding Neverland Ranch, and its uses for both a zoo and theme park, there are several ways the property can be utilized. Let's consider five possible uses.

I like the childrens home facility idea. There are so many children in foster care and in need of permanent homes that keep getting tossed from home to home or agency to agency. That place would be perfect for a stable environment with areas for schooling, entertainment and all. And a Ranch for terminally ill or disabled children to be among others like themselves with plenty of room for health care facilities on sight is a great idea also. Wonderful article!

This is a great article. Micheal Jackson was also accussed of using said Neverland Wine to ply the young boys into his bed. Remember the "Jesus Juice". I have to say I want none of anything that man as to do with.

This is a great article, the part about Neverland Wine made me laugh though. Do you really think people would like to purchase wine bearing the name of a place where Michael Jackson was accused of abusing children? Great ideas nonetheless though.
