Even teens enjoy getting a basket of goodies from the Easter Bunny, especially if the basket is as individual as they are. By the age of 8 a child has outgrown most of the store bought baskets. However, putting together a basket for a less then picky 8 year old can be a lot less challenging then trying to make one for a teen. These simple ideas were designed with two purposes, to make an Easter basket a teen will thank you for, and to keep the Easter Bunny from going crazy trying to make the perfect basket.

You know your teen better then anyone else. Ask yourself, "what do the like"? If they are into sports, then a sports theme Easter basket is perfect. The important thing is to be reasonable with your ideas. You don't want to put a football in there basket, if they already have 2 or 3 at home. Instead, consider putting a football jersey from their favorite team in the basket. It might cost you a little more, but they'll get more use out of it.

Regardless of how old your teen is, an Easter basket wouldn't be complete without candy. From Chocolate Easter Bunnies to Jelly Beans, Everyone has a favorite Easter candy that Easter just wouldn't be the same without. So, no matter what theme you use, or regardless of what you put in there basket, add a few pieces of Easter Candy.

Plastic Eggs also are popular Easter Basket fillers. Most people fill plastic eggs with jelly beans, or other lose candies. However, nothing fits in a plastic Easter egg as good as money does. A few plastic eggs with a couple of bucks inside won't set you back to much, and it makes a great surprise. Plastic eggs are also great places to hide other small goodies such as earrings, or a bracelet.
