Best Portable Laptop Money Can Buy

It's Cheap, It's Powerful and It's Portable...it's The Lenovo Thinkpad

The Lenovo Thinkpad z60 is a laptop that has something for everyone, and is an incredible buy. The Thinkpad is thin and sleek, weighing only 4 and a half pounds, and measuring 13.1x9x1.2 inches. Not only that, the Lenovo Z60t is one of the cheapest laptops avaialble today at only $799 (starting). It does come with plenty of configuration options, the highest of which pushes its cost to over $2200! It is portable, powerful, looks nice, and is also cheap. It's about as close to the perfect buy today as you can get.

The Thinkpad comes in an all-black version and also in a snazzy silver-titanium version, where the lid is different (silver-titanium). This is a very good laptop for business professionals and also for mulitmedia and home uses. Since it weighs only 4.5 lbs, it's a very portable laptop, though it weighs in at closer to 6lbs with the highest configuration (7cell battery instead of 4). The adapter is only one pound too, so the entire system is rather light. Like the other thinkpads, the ThinkPad Z60t has a very nice keyboard that is comgortable and easy to use. Though it's not a full keyboard like my other bigger Compaq Presario X6000, it still is very comfortable. It has a small red eraser head pointing stick and a touchpad integrated into the keyboard, and both are decent. I'm not a big fan of the eraser head, and don't see the advantage of it, as it now just give the laptop 3 pointing devices which in my eyes is a waste of resources. Because of the small size, it's hard to make this laptop very accessible without crowding it, but Lenovo has done a very good job with this. The arrow keys also act as disc-ply buttons and can be used to fast-forward, rewind, repeat, stop and so on. There are 4 small and well placed buttons that control the volume and shortcuts for system help.
