The Salt Lake City Cemetery is another of our more infamous cemeteries in the valley. Ever since I was young I have heard numerous stories and reports but myself have not experienced anything while in there in the day or night, and have not personally known anyone to claim such things either. This being said one of the reports is that if you go to the grave site of Jacob Moritz, to locals known as Emo something strange could occur. It is said that if you go to his mini mausoleum , walk around it three times and chant "Emo, Emo, Emo," and look into the window you will see his face.
A lot of strange things occur in the cemetery but it is unclear if anyone has studied the occurrences to substantiate them or disprove them. If walking through the cemetery at night you may notice glowing eyes on headstones, and for some reason especially the ones with angels or nuns statues atop of them. This could simply be lights glowing from nearby homes or even street lights.
