This film that was released in over 3,000 theaters on February 22, 2008, should have been called 11:59 a.m. simply because it repeats the first 23 minute Beginning over and over again at this particular time. I counted at least (6) six different times showing the 11:59 a.m. time frame at the bottom left of the big screen when these "events" took place in Salamanca, Spain depicting the assassination of the President of the United States approximately 23 minutes later at 12:22 p.m.

The reason why? The filmmakers apparently wanted to show different character events that took place before the presidential assassination.

The audience in the theater was NOT very pleased each time they started this same event over and over at approx. 11:59 a.m. showing this repeated "actual" time on the big screen. Some theater viewers "actually" yelled out and threatened to get their money back.

The film showed the building where the assassination took place being "Blown Up" at least (10) ten different times. This was very displeasing. The film itself has excellent acting and perfected modern special effects. with continuous repetition, sometimes ironically showing the same dialog over and over. Similar to what some viewers call "Flashbacks."

The entire story is based on approx. 45 minutes of "incidents" and "actions." These (6) six different event stories leading up to the presidential assassination have excellent graphics and non-stop action adventure, unfortunately with very little "flavor" or context. Also, the film is moving so fast, that it's hard to keep up with each one of these segments.

The film critic's and user reviews have stated that this film is similar to "Ground Hog Day" played by Bill Murray. But the only difference is, Bill Murray wakes up everyday at 6:00 a.m. on "Ground Hog Day" day after day, month after month, and eventually changes his events that turn out for the best for his depressing lifestyle.
