"America's Next Top Model", Cycle 10 Begins

Cycle ten of "America's Next Top Model" is underway with a new crop of beauties and divas once again invading New York City. Coming back home also meant losing supermodel judge, Twiggy, and replacing her with former model Paulina Porizkova.

Fourteen girls moved into the New York Loft. They include:

Allison, a 19-year-old hostess from Waunakee, Wisconsin;
Atalya, an 18-year-old student from Brooklyn, New York;
Amis, a 20-year-old waitress from Bartlesville, Oklahoma;
Aimee, an 18-year-old hostess from Spanway, Washington;
Anya, a 19-year-old retail clerk from Honolulu, Hawaii;
Claire, a 24-year-old production coordinator from New York, New York;
Dominique, a 23-year-old receptionist from Columbus, Ohio;
Fatima, a 22-year-old student from Boston, Massachusetts;
Katarzyna, a 22-year-old finance coordinator from Roslyn, New York;
Kimberly, a 20-year-old customer service representative from Worcester, Massachusetts;
Lauren, a 22-year-old artist from Brooklyn, New York;
Marvita, a 20-year-old retail clerk from San Francisco, California;
Stacy Ann, a 22-year-old student from Miami, Florida; and
Whitney, a 23-year-old student from Atlantic Beach, Florida.

Right away, Fatima and Marvita clashed personalities and provided the first dramatic scenes within the house. Their rivalry continued when the girls were taken to Times Square to do an impromptu fashion show in gowns from renowned designers Badgley and Miska.

Unfortunately, many of the girls faltered on the catwalk and failed to impress the judges with their first challenge. Luckily it was followed up with a fashion shoot focusing on an important issue - - the homeless.

The girls dressed up as homeless while many of the homeless we dressed like models. Some of the girls quickly showed that they had the right stuff while others were less than stellar with their performance.

Allison received no positive responses for the shoot and her photo failed to thrill;
