Things you'll need:
Raised Beds
Proper Garden Tools
Proper Plants
Constant Work
Watering
First Step:
Building Raised Beds for your plants is a great way to enhance your soil quality. Raised Beds are generally 3-4 inches tall (this is high enough to improve you soil), these beds are essentially tall planters. Basically once you build these beds all you will need to do is fill them with organic topsoil, it should take a few weeks but you will see drastically improved soil quality.
Second Step:
Another way to improve your soil quality is to aerate the soil; you will then add bags of organic compost. You can also add fertilizers if you think these will make a difference; I personally only use organic ingredients. Before you add your new plants to the area you will want to till the land once more, this will ensure that the soil is broken down. Once your area has been well tilled you will notice a dramatic difference in the way your plants react, this is the most common method for building better garden soil.
Third Step:
You can also build better garden soil by adding compost or topsoil to your existing dirt, this is another common method that some people experience reasonable results using. You will want to create a nice sized mound of soil, this can take about an hour and you will notice a difference in your soil immediately.
