Curious George, a successful childrens book and animated cartoon character, can be the perfect theme for any young child's birthday party. Curious George is a chimp who was bought from Africa by a man wearing a big yellow hat. He is always into everything, and is forever and infinitely curious. If you are having a Curious George Birthday Party, here are some ideas that you may not have considered.Invitations
Here are five invitation ideas for a Curious George birthday party. The first invitation idea for a Curious George birthday party you will need to buy either a couple of Curious George stuff chimps or small plastic chimp cookie jars, yellow string, and yellow blank cards. You should be able to find some of these items fairly cheaply at your local general chain or dollar stores.
Next, punch a hole in one of the yellow cards, and using a piece of yellow string wrap it around the stuff animal or the chimp cookie jar's neck. Write on the card "Have I Peaked Your Curiousity, or Curiouser and Curiouser" then the date and time of the party.
If you choose to use a small plastic chimp cookie jar, fill it with bake sugar cookies. You can either make your own or buy the sugar cookies ready made. Also buy a jar of white frosting and yellow color dye, mix a few drops of the dye into the frosting, then using the frosting, write the date and time of the birthday party on the sugar cookies.
The second invitation idea for a Curious George birthday party is to create a jungle themed bag invitation. For example, buy some small sacks that have jungle themed artwork on the outside. Fill the bag with things that are associated with chimps like peanuts, fruit(banana), and maybe things a kid would eat at a zoo like bag cotton candy and one twinkie. Tie or fold the end of the sack, staple the invitation on the outside of the bag or punch one hole in the card and in the front of the bag and using a ribbon, tie the invitation to the bag.
