1. Pin the tail on the donkey - This is a classic birthday party game, and no matter who you're playing with, young or old, it's a blast! Last year at my two-year-old's birthday party, we got her great-grandmother who is in her 80's to play! You can find this game at your local department store (like Wal-mart) in the card aisle or by other party accessories for just a few dollars. You can also find them at dollar stores. To play, you tape up the poster of the donkey on a wall or door, making sure it's accessible for all players. Determine who goes first, I usually do youngest goes first, but you could do it by height, too. Blindfold the first person (usually included in the kit, but if not a dishtowel or bandanna works well) give them a tail, spin them around a few times, then guide them to the donkey so they can pin the tail on. Continue this until all players have taken their turn. The person who has their tail closest where the donkey's tail should be, wins the game.
