Old Navy is a terrific place to by flip-flops. The price is so great, at just $3.50 to $5.00 a pair; you can get them in every color! If you buy them online, shipping is just $5.00. If you don't want your feet to look like everyone else's, you may want to customize your flip-flops so they are as unique as you! Here are three ideas that you can use to customize those Old Navy Flip-flops.

First, you'll need to choose a pair of flip-flops that you like. They come in all different colors, Mosaic style, plain, and even old fashioned black. Next, you'll need to decide how you want to decorate your flip-flops.

Adding silk flowers to your flip-flops is an inexpensive way to add some old-fashioned charm to your flip-flops. You'll need a pair of flip-flops, some matching silk flowers from your local craft store, a hot glue gun, and some glue sticks. Plug in your gun and get it ready to go! Trim the stems off of your flowers, you just need the heads. Once the glue is hot, you can glue down the flower tops to the strap of your sandal. You may want one big floppy flower in the middle, or maybe you would prefer tight rows of tiny little flowers. You could choose roses, mums, lilies, or anything else that floats your boat!

If you don't like flowers, maybe you would prefer ribbons. Choose your ribbons to match your flip-flops. You'll want a ribbon that is soft because it may rub against your feet as you walk. Again, you will need a glue gun and some glue sticks. When your glue gun is hot, dab a little bit on the end of a ribbon and wrap the ribbon tightly around the strap of the flip-flop. You may want to add some glue along the way for stability, but make sure it is a very thin line so that it doesn't show. Wrap your ribbon tightly so no strap shows through. When you get to the end of the strap, glue it down and tuck the end in so you cannot see it. You may way want to tie a little boy to put in the middle of the sandal, or you may prefer to leave it as is.

this sounds like a fun project for older kids.. as long as an adult helps with the hot glue gun.
