New England Home Show 2008 Goes for Green

March 1, 2008, Boston, MA - Shake off the winter blues and the inches of snowfall with the New England Home Show. Highlight exhibits of the show feature green products for the home, remodeling ideas, as well as the latest trends in kitchen decor and bathroom design, according to the New England Home Show. The New England Home Show also has special guests including The Wall Wizard and Dr. Gadget. Even kids won't be bored at this year's home design idea show, with the addition of the IGX gaming area.

The remodeling and decor show is taking place through Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Seaport World Trade Center.

Highlights

Green Products and Green Home Renovation

Exhibitors were encouraged display eco-friendly, energy efficient and sustainable green products this year . They are having a contest, and you get to vote on your favorite green product.

Green products at this year's design and decor show include kitchen cabinets made from sustainable and eco-friendly eucalyptus trees, energy-efficient freezers, and kitchen sinks made from soapstone. (Boston.com)

Special Guests

Special guests include Dr. Gadget, who will be demonstrating and array of new consumer products for the home.

Another special guest is Brian Santos, aka The Wall Wizard. If you will be doing any home renovating soon, and need some tips on faux finishes, The Wall Wizard is you guy. He is also going to be demonstrating some eco-friendly alternatives to wall treatments.

The show is open Saturday, March 1, 2008 from 10am until 9:30pm. The final day of the home decor show is Sunday, March 2, 2008. The New England Home Show 2008 opened on February 27, 2008

Attending the New England Home Show 2008

Location of the home decor and design idea show is at the Seaport World Trade Center. Seaport World Trade Center is located at 200 Seaport Boulevard in Boston, Massachusetts 02210.

Parking

There is parking available at the garage under the Seaport Hotel.

Tickets

Tickets are $11 at the door and $9 online Children ages six to 12 pay $4, and children five and under can attend for free.
