The Shake'n Go Shaker from the Zyliss as the name suggests is an on the go shaker cum blender that is useful to prepare fresh drinks whenever you are on move. I was using Tupperware for quite long and I always had a problem with cleaning them. Compared to that the Zyliss is ok because this not only cleans like breeze but also comes at $10 and it has all the basic features. This is basically made of high quality plastic and unlike other plastic wares it does not have weird chemical smell. This is also safe to use as the plastic does not leach. I even dropped it once accidental in the moving car and luckily it did not break. So going by that I believe the sturdy plastic construction is fairly durable.

The Shake'n Go Shaker has become my constant companion in all my trips, be it to the gym or college or dance classes, I just throw it in my bag along with a packet of powder. It sits nicely in the holder in almost all the cars and it is not tall to obstruct the vending machine or dispenser tap in the coffee machine at home. I mostly use it for making ice cold milk shakes, protein drink and smoothies. It seems you can also be used it for blending salad dressing. This can accommodate 16 ounce and my simple recipe is to pour 14 ounce of water and then to top it with flavored powder and some ice cubes. The size is just right for personal use.

What I liked the most in the Zyliss over the Vitaminder Power Shaker is that the pinwheel is always inside the carafe and does not get into the lid as in later. Coming to the pinwheel, it is made of plastic and looks like a spoke. The role of this wheel is to blend the drink smoothly by breaking the cluster of powder. In fact the wheel is the powerhouse and by far it is working fine without any crack. To enjoy smooth drink the tip is to add water first and then powder so that the powder does not stick or solidify at the base and this reduces the work load of the wheel. Then introduce the wheel on the top of the bottle above all ingredients just before closing so that it does not come in the way.
