The Fit & Fresh Power Shaker is basically a strip down no frill version of the blenders that comes at one fourth its price. I would not recommend this for regular use because it is really irritating to fix the minor problems everyday and to see whether everything is in place. Anyway blender is not going to coast much and then why waste your money on this cheap $5 product? May be if you are not a serious blender, you can think of buying it as this no doubt serves the purpose. This versatile shaker can be used to make fresh protein shakes, milk shakes, energy drinks and even for beating soups and sauce instantly.

I also have an on the go shaker from the Fit & Fresh and I find that both of these come with the same flaw and almost the same features. To begin with, this is made of plastic body and lid that seems to be of relatively good quality. Not to mention that if the lid is dropped the rubber ring gets displaced and might seep the liquid during vigorous shaking motion. Otherwise the translucent jar is ok. The good news is that it can accommodate 20 ounce of drink and this is a bonus considering the standard 16 ounce glass. If you are not comfortable with the ounce readings then check out for the ml markings neatly written on its side.

The powerhouse of this shaker is its plastic pinwheel that acts as a shield screen and breaks any lumps in the powder to mix it smoothly in the fluid to make a even bodied drink without any clutter. Some of them are complaining about the loose powder sticking beneath the lid, in between the spout and along the wheel. Simple tip can save your day. Just add some fluid in the shaker before throwing the powder and then swirl the container so that the powder gets fully mixed and forms a concentrated shake without. Now add remaining liquid and hit the shaker to supply air. This is not suitable for mixing fizz drinks because it is not designed to sufficiently aerate the drink.
