Vintage Cabbage Patch Kids are some of the cutest and sought after dolls by collectors and regular folks trying to find a favorite childhood toy for their own children. Making their debut in the early '80s, Cabbage Patch Kids were a popular gift for young boys and girls who could name the dolls themselves, as well as order a birth certificate for their doll.

Since the original line was released and then discontinued, Cabbage Patch Kids have been revived by collectors and those looking for wholesome toys. An all new line of dolls has been created and released to meet some of the demand, but the vintage dolls are still a popular collectors piece.

My own Cabbage Patch Kid still has a spot of his own in my own room, I adopted him after my brother tied my own doll to his big wheel and took it for a spin around the block. Because my doll has been loved by myself and two younger sisters, that were allowed to babysit, I would never consider selling it. Still, I have looked into the value of my own cabbage patch kid while out antiquing in the neighborhood.

If you are looking to sell a Cabbage Patch Kid you own or purchase one for yourself or a child, there are plenty of online retailers that carry the vintage dolls. In all cases, make sure you do your research before you sell or buy. Ask for pictures, make inquiries on the condition of the dolls and where they came from, and ask if they still have the birth certificate the doll came with.
