Halloween is more than a one day holiday. There are events going on all through the month of October in Boston and the surrounding area. All of these celebrations are within a 20-30 mile radius of Boston. All easy to reach from Boston so why not make plans to attend more than one, and make them a Halloween tradition. And they are yearly events, so if you cannot make time for a visit this year, bookmark this page and check back for information on next years dates. And you do not have to live in Boston or the surrounding area to participate either. IF you are planning a visit to the Boston area make time to stop in at one or more of the celebrations, or if you are looking for a place to get away for a fall vacation, then consider Boston. You will have a good time. There are many great events going on in Boston and consider making one of the Halloween Celebrations part of your Boston experience. All of the activities, unless it says otherwise, are child friendly, so don’t be afraid to bring the little ones.

Every weekend in October, Friday, Saturday and Sunday,
The Bayside Exposition Center
200 Mount Vernon Street
Columbia Point
Boston, MA 02125
Becomes SPOOKEY WORLD.

Open nightly from 6pm, Saturday and Sunday matinees
October 21, 22, 28, 29 from 1pm
There are six Haunted Happenings, see how many of them you can survive.
Stroll around the halls of the Haunted Mansion You never know who or what will pop up to great you.
Then come to the Catacombs, the place of the dead, but you will not be alone.
Do you have the nerve to take part in an experiment to see just how much fear you can stand?
The visit would not be complete without a visit to a museum. Of course this is not just any museum. It is devoted to the monster stars of Hollywood Movies. The only thing is, some of them are still alive.
And then continue on to the walk of fame, where you will see actual props and other artifacts from the Monster Movies.
End your visit with a nice quite time with hundreds of carved pumpkins. Not ordinarily craved pumpkins, mind you.

We've been to witches woods and it is definitely scary. The haunted hayride is the best! Great article!
