Let us not forget the promises of our elected governor when he was running for office and what he is actually delivering to the people of this state. A promise to control the rate hikes of BGE was a pipe-dream and restructuring the Public Service Commission to work for the citizens of this state has become a joke. Now he is a team player with the PSC and even approving a 26 percent pay raise for this group which will cost the tax payers more for the salaries of a commission which is doing nothing for the people of this state. At a time when even the federal government is trying to find ways to help the working people to keep more of the money they earn to feed their families and pay the bills Gov. Martin O'Malley is finding ways to rip the dollars Marylanders make right out of their pockets. His idea of controlling spending by the state is raising taxes more and more to ensure the state government has enough to spend. We now do not hear any of the promises about cutting spending and ta

For conservative-leaning Maryland blogs, I would recommend checking the list of the Maryland Blogger Alliance on my sidebar, starting with Soccer Dad and Maryland Conservatarian and heading down the list. You've listed Monoblogue and Crablaw, two of our members. As Bruce Godfrey will attest, there's no political litmus test to be a member.
