Questioning Obama About ELF: Hands Off?

It's Almost a Crime to Question Obama!

At a hearing of the US Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works last May, Senator Barak Obama (D-Illinois) cited the FBI's own assertions that crimes by the ELF and ALF had been decreasing. Obama suggested that the FBI's 2003 statistics showing more than 7,400 hate crimes motivated by race, ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation, and 450 environmental crimes by industries violating clean air and water laws and improperly transporting and disposing of hazardous waste, demonstrated that there were much bigger threats.

"While I want these [ELF and ALF] crimes stopped," the senator said, "I do not want people to think that the threat from these organizations is equivalent to other crimes faced by Americans every day."

ELF has not taken credit, nor have they been officially cited for the latest fires causing at least $7 million dollars. But there were signs left saying "Built green?" and "McMansions RCDs r not green." These signs lead some to believe that ELF was involved somehow.

There is also a trial going on where ELF member Briana Waters is being tried for a suspected ELF fire at University of Washington (2001). Could this all just be coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not.

The question is, Can we question Obama on his thoughts and ideas about ELF and ALF and their relevance today? Or are the above statements not valid in this election either? We are not to question him about his religion(s), but it's okay for Romney and Hucklebee to be grilled. We cannot call him by his real name Barrack Hussein Obama. We cannot or should not look into his "cousins" who may or may not be of radical Muslim persuasion. And on and on it goes.

Does Barrack Hussein Obama think its a terrorist act to set fire or do harm to other people's property? Does he feel that ELF and ALF have valid points and this is the only way for them to get "heard"? Does Obama look at ELF and ALF as lesser of evils? Meaning that since their statistics are lower right now, they are some how less destructive to those they impact? Is questioning allowed on this topic?

Very good article. Obama does seem to be "off limits" as far as the press is concerned. He has been handled with kid gloves. Apparently he refuses to take questions when they become difficult. He seems to stutter when trying to speak without a prepared speech. I trust the American people are smart enough to look into his past, the things he has done, his liberalism, his patriotism, where his money comes from (his income was approximately $900,00 on his tax returns -- a junior senator and attorney wife??), the boards Michelle served on (what favors were received from service on certain boards?), his connection to Rezko. Everyone knows about Bill and Hillary. No point in listing the questions I would like to ask them. We know most of the answers. Wonder how it will work if we have a Bill/Hill/Obama ticket. Three presidents in DC!!

I get suspicious when you can't question anyone. But then you can't ask HIllary certain questions either so. . .

Ever notice when the housing market is down ELF surfaces and starts burning down houses? Nice way to collect insurance money for unsold homes and garner support for anti-global warming activists, by painting them as a terrorist group. Like the time ELF got cited, and yet was later found the fires were started because the homes were supposed to be sold to African/Americans, and the group of 25 caught were not ELF members at all. Talking about terrorist groups will Hillary denounce Sandra Day O'Connor for using her government position to aid and abet those terrorists operating in the US for the past 100 or so years? Probably not; she colorized Obama's face to make him look more black in her latest ads and mailers which tells us a lot about her brain and what she thinks of the citizens she wants to preside over. Voters should start asking her about Dubai, Bill's UAE Sheik biz partners and their Hebrew hatred, btw...

I don't see the problem with using Obama's middle name. I think if we use his middle name we need to be fair and use the middle names of all the candidates. Any person running for President should be open to questions concerning their past. We as voters must remember there are no perfect people, which translates to no candidate with a perfectly clean past. We have to weigh which candidate's fuzzy past seems least harmful and most helpful to the people. The question of whether or not ELF and ALF are terrorist orginizations can be answered by their actions...have they done anything to cause destruction and invoke fear? Yes. Nice article! Vote NADER.

It's about time someone started asking Barak Hussein Obama the hard questions...unfortuantely , it does seem that he is off limits when it comes to being asked questions that deserve straight forward answers...... Very good article, hope it gets people thinking about what's really important when choosing a Presidential candidate. We need to know what he really believes in...his core, basic, philosophy. How are we to know that if everything is "off limits"?
