A lot of memories of the past nine years have to do with watching Nick Jr, with my three children. I first started watching this preschool block in the late 1990's, when my oldest child was about 14 or 15 months old. At that time, Franklin was the newest show on the lineup; Kipper and Maisy debuted just a short time after my daughter and I started watching.

The shows I remember most from when my oldest watched Nick Jr. regularly are Little Bear, Blue's Clues, Kipper, Maisy Franklin,, Little Bill, and Dora the Explorer. I also remember seeing Maggie and the Ferocious Beast. My daughter's favorites were definitely Blue's Clues, Little Bear, Little Bill, and Dora the Explorer.

Around the time my daughter turned three, her little brother was born. Bob the Builder debuted on Nick Jr. when he was about three months old; when my son was old enough to start getting into Nick Jr., this was one of his favorite shows. He also enjoyed Blue's Clues, Dora the Explorer, and The Backyardigans a lot. During the time my son was watching Nick Jr., other shows airing in the block included Lazy Town, Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, Oswald, Go, Diego, Go!, and Rubbadubbers.
