Is Winona Ryder Engaged to Blake Sennet?

Winona Ryder makes the news again but this time it's not for one of her movies. There are rumors speculating that Winona Ryder and musician, Blake Sennett, are engaged. Winona Ryder has been known for her acting career in such movies as Beetle Juice and is set to have five more movies released in 2008 and 2009. Ryder's rep has claimed that the rumors are not true and Ryder is not engaged as reported by Showbiz Spy.

Keeping an engagement a secret is not only hard for celebrities like Winona Ryder to do but also complicated for people like me. Being hard headed and living a complicated life, I had decided to keep my engagement a secret until I was absolutely sure that this was what I wanted to do.

The reason that most celebrities and other people keep engagements hush-hush is usually because they don't want to promote their love and have it fall back in their face. Even though I was in love, getting married scared the daylights out of me. I was worried that it might end before it ever began.

No one knew about the engagement until a few days before I became married to my now husband. Some people were in shock over the news and others said that they had already assumed that something was going on.

The only person that I had previously told was my sister, Tina. She thought that it was a wonderful idea but understood why I had chosen to keep everything on the down low.

In order to keep my engagement a secret, I continued to live my life like I normally would but found myself wanting to spend more time with my fiancé. I was at his house day and night which may not be a good thing for someone who wants to hold off on telling people.

I was in no way embarrassed of getting married; it was just that I couldn't ever really find the perfect time to tell everyone. I'm not celebrity you know, I can't just have my rep to confirm or deny it for me or have the media to speculate until they find out the truth.
