Over the years Oprah Winfrey has gone through many metamorphosis's. When she began her morning show back in the mid 1980's she was low key and likeable. She focused on the content of her shows and the guests, which is what made her so sucessful.

However, as her popularity grew her head began to swell. She began having guests who's ideas and views were on the edge and not the norm. Marianne Williamson with the New AgeCourse of Miracles was just the beginning of a litany of guests that put Oprah on the cutting edge. Some of these views she presented from various guests and her own interjections ranged from bizzare to demonic.

Between her yoyo dieting, her disastrous interview with Paul McCartney in 1998 and her obsession throughout the 1990's to date - that we are the masters of our universe and choose our families before we are even born, lends credence that she does not always deal with a full deck. Oprah has been out there in the twightlight zone.

Who in G-d's name would choose to be born to poverty, rape, or abuse? But according to Oprah we do choose our families and the family chosen is for the life lesson we must learn during this cycle. It is insanity - New Age crap that she sells and her groupies buy into hook, line and sinker.

Of late she helped Dr. Phil rise to fame. Barack Obama is now on her list of those she deems worthy of her endorsement. Oprah is poisonous. Although she is famous, has money and fame - she is empty and seeking attention in ways that are unhealthy and not normal.

People that give to others and donate to charities for the most part want to keep that private. But as always Oprah does things in a flashy way that is tasteless and tacky. Her company's first network reality show, "Oprah's Big Give," which made its debuted Sunday evening, March 2nd on ABC is described by the New York Times as, "ingenious: a fierce, cutthroat competition between people who are dedicated to doing good."

Now that was a rant worth reading. I too have read about giving in the Bible and have thought about this often. I still watch Oprah every now and then for her tips on cooking and eating right but some of the things that she says and does, isn't worth watching at all. I absolutely loved this article.
